Course Overview

Trauma touches nearly every life. It may arise from childhood experiences, difficult relationships, accidents, illness, systemic oppression, or collective crises. Even when not openly spoken about, trauma lives in the body, the nervous system, and the energy field, shaping how people feel, think, and engage with the world around them. Many of the clients who come to us for healing and support are carrying these unprocessed wounds—often without realizing it themselves.

As healers and coaches, the way we hold space matters. Without an understanding of trauma, it’s easy to overlook the roots of a client’s struggles, misinterpret their responses, or unintentionally create conditions that reinforce fear or dysregulation. With trauma-informed awareness, however, we can create spaces that are not only safe, but profoundly supportive of deep healing, resilience, and transformation.

Foundations of Trauma-Informed Healing equips you with the knowledge, practices, and skills to serve with confidence, integrity, and care. Through teaching, guided practices, live classes, and community engagement, you’ll explore how trauma shows up in the body, mind, emotions, and energy system. You’ll learn to recognize trauma responses and patterns, hold space with compassion and clarity, and apply somatic and energetic practices that restore balance and safety.

You’ll also strengthen the professional skills that make a real difference in how you show up with and support your clients—like learning to listen deeply, respect each person’s background and perspective, set clear and healthy boundaries, and communicate in ways that build trust and safety. Just as important, you’ll learn how to take care of yourself in this work with tools that help you stay grounded, avoid burnout, and continue supporting others without losing your own balance.

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

  1. Understand how trauma shapes the nervous system, behaviors, and energy field
  2. Recognize trauma responses in your clients and respond with sensitivity and skill
  3. Create safe, inclusive, and empowering environments for healing and coaching
  4. Apply somatic practices and energetic hygiene tools to support regulation and resilience
  5. Hold clear ethical and relational boundaries, guided by trauma-aware integrity
  6. Support your own well-being with effective self-regulation and practitioner care practices

For aspiring practitioners, this course provides a strong entry point into the healing arts practice. For those already in practice, it strengthens and refines your capacity to serve, bringing greater depth, safety, and effectiveness to every client relationship. Trauma-informed training doesn’t just make you a better practitioner—it protects your clients, enhances their outcomes, and expands the impact of your work.

If you are ready to serve with greater awareness, depth, and integrity, Foundations of Trauma-Informed Healing is your next step.
